Problem

Your pool may have been neglected or chemically mismanaged, it may have had organic matter (such as algae, leaves and other debris), it may have had heavy-metals from well water or corrosion from a decaying pool-heater… whatever the cause, the unsightly staining can be lightened, and often removed, without the need to completely resurface your pool.

Solution

While some Pool Professionals differ in opinion on if/how/when/why to do an Acid Wash, the fact is, no other process offers the same results.

Action

Once empty, we immediately wash, sometimes with chlorine, sometimes with pressure.  Then we vacuum out any messy remains of what lurked in pool.  Next we CAREFULLY pour a diluted mixture of Muriatic Acid on the surfaces of the pool, neutralizing the acid in the appropriate amount of time, and repeating systematically until the entire pool has been brightened and assess if any spots require a more concentrated treatment.

Outcome

When satisfied, we quickly refill your pool – we do not want it sitting empy any longer than 100% necessary.  Finally we do a complete start-up chemical treatment.

You get your pool back! That beautiful, crystal clear oasis that you would be happy to sit and stare at, and the grandkids can’t seem to keep out of!
